Devan's Biography
Devan Hochuli joined the family business in 2017 after graduating from the University of Arizona with a degree in Family Studies and Human Development. The degree might raise an eyebrow until you spend five minutes inside a remodeling company and realize the job is almost entirely about people; managing expectations, navigating stress, keeping projects and relationships intact at the same time.
She came back to the Valley and stepped into every role that needed filling. Payroll, operations, client coordination, office management, which is the work that keeps a design build firm running while everyone else is focused on the glamorous parts. She got good at it. Then she got indispensable.
Today Devan serves as General Manager of Hochuli Design & Remodeling Team, with a clear trajectory: she is the owner in training, on course to take the helm of the company by 2034. That is not a hope. It is a plan, and she has been executing it since day one.
She is so committed to the idea of building things that serve people well that she even started a side hustle doing aesthetician work on weekends; and that's because helping people feel good is not something she limits to one context.
The company Scott and Lorrie built from door hangers and a garage workshop is in good hands. Devan has been watching it, learning it, and quietly preparing to lead it for years. That tends to be how the Hochuli family operates.
